Your daily life
- Collaborate with the Director and Workshop Foreman to develop monthly and weekly maintenance and corrective work plans for light vehicles, construction machinery, heavy vehicles, and other specialized equipment;
- Ensure strict follow-up on inspections for all equipment regulated by the SAAQ and manage appointments;
- Assist the foreman in prioritizing work orders within the backlog;
- Work closely with the internal parts department to reserve and order required components;
- Plan and coordinate health and safety activities with the workshop foreman;
- Work closely with the fleet manager to provide all relevant equipment-related information;
- Receive various maintenance, improvement, or modification requests for mobile and stationary equipment;
- Analyze work requests and define, in collaboration with the foreman, the priorities for preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring follow-up, coordination, and performance measurement;
- Assess the impact of corrective work requests on maintenance plans and provide reports;
- Compile and provide the director with performance indicators established by the management team;
- Create and update maintenance records for equipment and perform related clerical tasks;
- Conduct daily visual inspections to detect fleet vehicles requiring repairs, cleaning, and maintenance;
- Actively contribute to fostering and maintaining a respectful, harmonious, stimulating, and collaborative work atmosphere;
- Provide impeccable service to internal clients and fleet vehicle users;
- Manage documentation related to the renewal of various permits and required certificates;
- Schedule vehicle transports as needed;
- Participate in documentation exchanges during vehicle acquisitions or sales;
- Perform work with rigor and integrity;
- Carry out tasks and responsibilities efficiently and with a strong performance mindset;
- Work in alignment with the company’s culture and values;
- Occasionally available to handle emergencies outside regular working hours;
- Any other related tasks.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license;
- Experience using databases;
- Experience in coordinating garage work and fleet management (an asset);
- Knowledge and understanding of general automotive or heavy vehicle mechanics (an asset);
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (an asset);
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
