HR and OHS Assistant

Participate in the OHS committee (agenda, follow-up, minutes);
Promote a proactive, consistent and participatory prevention culture within teams;
Ensure follow-up and traceability of corrective actions from committees and internal inspections;
Work closely with the OHS advisor for standardization of practices;
Ensure consistency of OHS requirements between sites and various stakeholders;
Participate in planning wellness and occupational health initiatives, in collaboration with OHS management and HR;
Keep corporate OHS documentation up to date: prevention programs, procedures, internal communications;
Maintain OHS databases and dashboards (accidents, training, inspections);
Support corporate OHS communication (displays, bulletins, reminders, prevention messages);
Support OHS orientation activities for new employees (CCQ and non-CCQ);
Gain the trust of teams to establish a sustainable prevention culture;
All other related tasks.

Training or experience in occupational health and safety or related field;
Relevant OHS experience, ideally in a mixed environment (offices, warehouses, garages, construction sites) (asset);
Mastery of office tools and document management platforms (Excel, SharePoint, etc.);
Possess a valid ASP construction card (asset);
Hold a valid driver's license;
Excellent communication and training facilitation skills;
Knowledge of the construction industry;
Mastery of spoken and written French;
Ability to structure and standardize complex administrative processes;
Excellent written and oral communication;
Analytical mindset, curiosity and sense of continuous improvement.
