Driver / Delivery Person

Job description

• Your daily life

  • Perform delivery and pickup of merchandise using a pick-up truck;

  • Efficiently plan routes and ensure delivery deadlines are met;

  • Handle, load and unload merchandise in compliance with safety standards;

  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during client interactions;

  • Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any anomalies;

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the vehicle;

  • Complete required documentation (delivery slips, reports, etc.);

  • Represent the company in a positive manner during travel and client interactions;

  • Perform all other related tasks linked to transportation and delivery.

• Requirements

  • Valid class 5 driver's licence (class 3, an asset);

  • Experience driving delivery vehicles (an asset);

  • Very good knowledge of the greater Montréal area;

  • Good physical condition;

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills;

  • Fluency in French.
