Electrician - Road Lighting

Job description

• Your daily life

  • Read and interpret diagrams, circuit plans, and descriptive specifications from the Canadian Electrical Code;

  • Perform cable routing through conduits;

  • Install supports and brackets on which electrical equipment will be mounted;

  • Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment;

  • Establish circuits by joining and connecting cables to devices and components;

  • Connect the power supply to traffic lights and lighting devices;

  • May be required to work on various outdoor electrical installations;

  • Easily handle different types of communication and measuring devices;

  • Ensure the proper transmission of required information;

  • May be required to work on various street lighting and traffic signal installations;

  • Work with a diverse clientele.

• Requirements

  • Proficiency in French;

  • CCQ Electrician certification;

  • Class 3 driver's license (asset);

  • Bucket truck training (asset).
