Job description

• Your daily life

  • Install, remove, maintain, and repair overhead or underground lines and cables, including strand, coaxial and fibre optic cables, as well as other telecommunications transmission and distribution lines ;

  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power supply equipment, amplifiers, and other transmission and distribution devices ;

  • Climb poles, ladders, or other support structures to work at heights or in confined spaces such as tunnels and crawlspaces ;

  • Communicate with other workers to coordinate job preparation and execution ;

  • Transfer attachments on wooden or fibre poles.

• Requirements

  • CCQ Line Installer certification ;

  • Availability for emergency work 24/7 ;

  • Proficiency in French.
