Automotive Detailing Technician

Job description

• Your daily life

  • Perform interior and exterior vehicle washing;

  • Clean engine compartments, trunks, and storage areas;

  • Carry out stain removal, cleaning, and refinishing of interior surfaces;

  • Ensure overall vehicle cleanliness before vehicles are returned to service;

  • Perform polishing, waxing, and surface decontamination;

  • Restore and protect painted surfaces;

  • Carry out minor paint touch-ups;

  • Apply protective treatments and finishing products;

  • Install rustproofing treatments;

  • Install various accessories and equipment;

  • Perform minor aesthetic improvement work;

  • Apply stickers, lettering, or corporate identification elements when required;

  • Inspect the aesthetic condition of vehicles;

  • Identify damage, defects, or anomalies requiring repair;

  • Report major bodywork or mechanical work to the appropriate people;

  • Ensure compliance with the company's quality and safety standards.

• Requirements

  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent;

  • AEP in automotive detailing or relevant experience in a related field;

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license;

  • Experience in vehicle aesthetic maintenance (asset);

  • Proficiency in French.
