Yard Materials Attendant

Job description

• Your daily life

  • Sort and organize materials and returns from construction sites;

  • Help maintain the materials inventory;

  • Prepare materials for projects;

  • Receive and ship project materials for our teams as well as supplier returns;

  • Maintain order in the yard and warehouse;

  • Collaborate with the tools and mechanics department to identify and report tool and vehicle defects;

  • Conduct daily rounds to ensure the site remains secure (doors/locks/trucks, etc.);

  • Keep the area clean at all times (debris/snow removal);

  • Perform all other related tasks (fleet vehicle cleaning, sorting/organizing/tidying spaces, occasional deliveries).

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions;

  • Ability to manage documentation;

  • Basic computer skills;

  • Good physical condition;

  • Valid driver's license;

  • Proficiency in French;

  • Provide impeccable customer service;

  • Forklift training (an asset).
